I figure you all know about Hurricane Irene, you guys are following it and some are even experiencing it right now. So, how about I talk about something else and maybe even give you something to do on these next couple of rainy days. I promise, it will be worth your while to watch. With this post, I wanted to share how one incredible idea can transform into a worldwide pay it forward movement. The Jubilee Project was made in large by the three musketeers, Jason, Eddie and Eric. They found a way to captivate attention through the viral video community, knowledge and the kindness of people to launch a movement for change. Now, more so than ever, with the use of 3G and 4G networks we are able to stay connected to the internet where ever and whenever we want through laptops, tablets and cellular phones. These entertaining videos "inspire, enable and empower others to do good as well." They have touched on subjects that bring awareness to HIV/Aids, Hep B, ♥ for Japan, maternal health, hearing impaired, North Korean Refugees...and raise money for organizations such as
Through “active viewership,” The Jubilee Project has raised over $23,000 for 11 non-profit organizations. Even if donations aren’t your thing, you can help by sharing their videos and website or buying a shirt from their store.
